DCA conducts an introduction to Environment, Health and Safety Management System seminar to all contractors working at Dubai International Airport

The Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai conducted one day Seminar on introduction to Environment, Health Safety Management System to all Contractors working at the Dubai International Airport Expansion on 23 rd November 2005 at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai.
Mr. Masoud M. Taher- Director, Engineering Services Department - DCA inaugurated the seminar and officially released the (Environment, Health and Safety guidelines booklet) to all the Contractors. "These guidelines are aimed to educate the contracting companies' workers about the mandatory Environment, Health & Safety requirements that have to be complied by them while working within the operational areas of Dubai International Airport. The new guidelines shall protect the vital Engineering installations; avoid any interruption to the Airport operations due to work accidents and protect workers thereby ensure hazardous free development."
The Seminar was attended by more than one hundred Senior Management delegates from the Contracting companies and Senior Executives from DCA Engineering Services Department.
