This allows customers a greater amount of flexibility and the opportunity to benefit from a great stopover package in the exciting city of Dubai should they have any last-minute changes to their travel itinerary.

The packages have been recently enhanced to provide even more value-for-money and let customers choose from an expanded range of hotels and hotel apartments, in the city and on the beach.

Valid until 31st Oct 2006, Emirates' Dubai Stopover Packages include buffet breakfast, a 96-hour visa for transit passengers, transfers between Dubai International Airport and the hotel. Emirates also offers after-office emergency assistance to passengers.

Speaking on the launch of the revamped product, Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates' Executive Vice President - Commercial Operations Worldwide, said:

"Dubai has become a popular destination for leisure travellers and stopover traffic because of its excellent infrastructure and the many new attractions being launched in the city. Emirates' Dubai Stopover Programme has been one of our biggest successes as the value-for-money packages have been attracting an increasing number of customers to take up the stopover option each year. We now expect even more people to avail of these excellent offers with the new flexibility of booking when they arrive in Dubai."

The packages are available worldwide to all passengers regardless of class of travel. Passengers travelling via Dubai may take the package on either the inbound or outbound leg of their journey, or both, provided one sector is on Emirates.

Emirates' Dubai Stopover Programme has been successful in attracting numerous tourists to Dubai, which is fast becoming one of the preferred tourist destinations in the world.
