The exhibition runs from 12-16 December 2005 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the Ford stand is in Hall 3.

The legendary Ford GT appears in its new production version following an appearance at the 2003 Motor Show by the GT concept vehicle. The GT will showcase Ford's enviable heritage in performance engineering and appear alongside the mighty Ford Mustang GT.

The best-selling SUV on the planet, the Ford Explorer, also appears in its all-new model for 2006, setting yet another benchmark in its segment with class-leading features.

Another star attraction this year will be Lincoln's all-new, mid-size luxury sedan, the Zephyr, which will go display beside its luxury truck model, the Mark LT. When it comes to the Mercury brand, a trio of groundbreaking vehicles will make their regional debut: the Milan mid-size sedan, Monterey mini-van, and the all-new 2006 Mountaineer mid-size SUV.

'We're planning an aggressive, product-led marketing drive for 2006, and the products on display at this year's Middle East International Motor Show will demonstrate that we mean business,'

said Hussein Murad, Ford Middle East's Sales and Marketing director. 'Watch this space!'

Ford: Ford GT, Mustang GT, 2006 Explorer

Race lovers will be delighted with the 5.4-litre, V8 Ford GT production car. Every dimension on the car is a unique reinterpretation of the original. The 4.6-litre V8 Mustang GT will complement the GT with its coupe and convertible body styles.

Also gracing the stand will be the all-new 2006 model of the world's best selling SUV, the Ford Explorer, now bolder in style and design. It retains its exclusive safety features and segment-leading interior space and quietness. For the first time, the Explorer comes with a floor-mounted gear shift.

A Larger Mercury Line-Up

The Mercury line-up for the Motor Show will feature the all-new 2006 Mountaineer, the Monterey minivan and the mid-size Milan. Also on display will be the brand's flagship - the Grand Marquis.

Lincoln: Lincoln Zephyr, Mark LT

The V-6 powered, front-wheel-drive, contemporary Lincoln Zephyr will appear alongside the authentic luxury truck, the Mark LT. Both models will appear with the new Navigator full-size SUV and the luxury sports sedan, the LS V8.
