- PRESS RELEASE
A large number of companies dealing in agricultural produce, equipment, supplies and services will be participating at Food Expo 2005, which will be held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre on December 5-7.
Among these companies are Al Batinah International SAOG, Al Marooj for Agriculture Service & Trade LLC, Gulf Mushroom Products Co. SAOG, Muscat Overseas Agriculture Co. LLC, and the Omani Establishment for Agricultural Development & Contracts LLC.
These companies will showcase a wide selection of agricultural tools and equipment, fertilizers and pesticides, seeds and other agricultural supplies as well as locally-grown produce such as mushrooms and bananas. They will also highlight the range of technical services they offer to boost the harvest of Omani farmers. In addition, agricultural companies will draw attention to the international companies and brands that they represent in the sultanate.
"The availability of modern agricultural equipment and supplies in Oman bodes well for the future of the sultanate's agricultural sector," Paul stressed. "Their use would go a long way in ongoing efforts to make the country self-sufficient in its food supply."
Paul pointed out that, apart from agricultural companies, Food Expo 2005 will also feature food processing firms, catering equipment suppliers, packaging companies, bakery supplies distributors, kitchenware manufacturers, and other companies serving the food industry.
