Arab leaders from the region and around the world attended the Forum, which hosted speakers, officials and CEOs of prominent companies in addition to experts and academics.

ARAMEX's sponsorship of the YAL Forum is a reflection of the natural affinity the company has with the goals of YAL for nurturing entrepreneurship in aspiring Arab youth. Fadi Ghandour, ARAMEX CEO cited several reasons for his company's endorsement of this event:
"We sponsored this YAL event because we are very keen to help our youth in meeting the challenges of the time. We at Aramex have always held the belief that the success of any corporation is not about financial profitability alone, but also about commitment to life, people and society."

He added: "Aramex has always been committed to cultivating the creative talents and entrepreneurial spirit of young leaders within our corporation as well as within society at large. This dedication has always been at the core of our corporate culture and a key to our own success."

Mr. Ghandour took part in the Al Arabiya Debate on the concluding day of the three-day Forum held under the theme "Leading The Future". The debate shed light on the definition of leadership in the Arab World and helped in adopting a stand on the issues and challenges facing the Arab world today.

Apart from Mr. Ghandour, the debate involved prominent personalities from various fields, including HRH Prince Bandar Bin Khalid Al Faisal, Publisher and Chairman of Al Watan Newspaper in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohammed Al Gergawi, Executive Chairman of Dubai Holding and Chairman of YAL, UAE Chapter, Maha Al Ghunaim, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Global Investment House in Kuwait, and Mr. Esam Al Janahi, Chairman, Bahrain Financial Harbour and Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, Gulf Finance House, Bahrain.
