Etihad Holidays brings PGA Championship closer to guests

The tournament will see world-class golfers such as Colin Montgomerie, Thomas Bjorn and Sergio Garcia descending into Abu Dhabi as part of the European Golf Tour 2006. The Abu Dhabi Golf Championship will be held from 19-22 January 2006.

Etihad Holidays will be supplying unique packages so that golf aficionados can watch all the action on the course, whilst enjoying the world-class hospitality and comfort that Abu Dhabi and travelling with Etihad Airways brings.

Guests can choose from a number of packages including hotels such as the world-renowned Emirates Palace, Beach Rotana and Le Royal Meridien. Offers include a minimum of three nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, return airport transfers and daily tickets to the PGA Championship.

With prize money of US$ 2 million on offer, the Abu Dhabi Golf Club National Course will host a 72 hole stroke play event with 4 rounds being played over the 4 days and a cut being made after 36 holes to the Top 65 and ties.
