Globalpharma secures technology transfer license to manufacture additional product lines

Globalpharma today secured an agreement for the production of new products lines from Polichem S.A.

The conclusion of this agreement allows Globalpharma, through the transfer of a technology license, to manufacture and distribute products for the treatment of respiratory tract conditions such as asthma, as well as gynaecologic and immunity related conditions.

Polichem S.A. is a private pharmaceutical Company based in Lugano, Switzerland, with a long tradition of activity in the pharmaceutical field, having historical roots in Italy since 1947. The Company focuses on the development, registration, distribution and licensing of innovative pharmaceutical products, with its core business in the fields of Gynaecology, Dermatology, Cardiovascular and Central Nervous System.

Polichem licences and exports to four continents and more than 30 countries through its international network of competent partners, holding licensing and distribution agreements for its products with international and major national companies. 80 percent of sales are made in Europe and 20 percent in the rest of the World.

Mr Khalid Bin Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Investments PJSC and Chairman of Globalpharma comments,

About Globalpharma:

The Globalpharma site is built on a plot measuring approximately 27000 square meters in Dubai Investment Park, about 50 kms from the city centre. The factory has two separate manufacturing units, for Penicillin and Non-Penicillin products, with the utilities in a separate block.
