DED selects 17-member assessment team for Dubai Human Development Award

The Department of Economic Development (DED) announced that a team of 17 qualified assessors had been selected to evaluate the submissions for this year's edition of the Dubai Human Development Award (DHDA).

He distributed certificates to the participants who had completed the two-day training programme, conferring on them the status of qualified assessors and entreated them to ensure that the judgment process for the award would be managed systematically and effectively keeping in mind the objectives and aims of this award.

About Department of Economic Development (DED):
The Department of Economic Development (DED) was established in March 1992, with the objective to organise, regulate and boost trade and industry within the Emirate of Dubai. The DED has moulded its mission of building a futuristic establishment, in accordance with the vision of the Government of Dubai and in the light of globalisation and the requirements of a digital economy. One of its key functions is to encourage local and foreign investments in commercial and industrial projects, and create the appropriate environment for investors.
