Banker Middle East scoops major award in Kuala Lumpur

Banker Middle East's contribution to the Islamic banking and finance industry has been acknowledged in the form of a very prestigious award in Kuala Lumpur, one of the globe's Islamic finance hotspots.
The award was presented to Banker Middle East during the KLIFF 2005 conference Gala Dinner by YB Senator Tan Sri Dato' Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Finance Minister II, Ministry of Finance of Malaysia on November 29th with over 200 industry leaders in attendance.
So successful has been the Islamic Banking and Finance section of the magazine, that last month the publishers, CPI Financial based in Dubai, launched the Islamic Banking and Finance magazine as a standalone product with a truly global distribution and readership. Following the same format and quality of Banker Middle East, Islamic Banking and Finance launch issue carried an exclusive in-depth cover interview with Governor Zeti, head of Bank Negara Malaysia, the Central Bank of Malaysia.
Managing editor of CPI Financial, Paul McNamara commented, "It is always a great honour to receive an Awards, but we felt particularly pleased to receive such a high profile award from such an august gathering. With our new magazine we aim to serve the industry globally with the best writers and researchers around."
