The International Bahrain Garden Show will be held from 5 to 8 of April 2006, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
The steering committee of BIGS 2006 is pleased to announce its first Flower Parade. Prior to the main event there will be several related activities leading up to the opening of the show, one of the most important ones is the Flower Parade which promises colorful displays of flowers from all over the world driving across the streets of Bahrain.
Schools & Universities, Flower & Chocolate Shops, Hotels & Restaurants, Garden Centres, Banks and Financial Institutions, Retail and shopping outlets and local companies can participate with their own Floats, they can either hire a flat bed car from local companies, or they can use their own cars and trucks. Exhibitors will have their names in one display put together by the organizers, or alternatively have their own float done by themselves.
Cars and trucks can be creatively decorated to signify the company name and logo which will be a wonderful opportunity for advertising their name and products. The event will be covered in press and TV, and people will see the floats on the streets. This is far better than advertising in the media only, and it would certainly cost much less.
All kinds of flowers, plants, garden equipment and furniture can be used to decorate the floats. We encourage creativity and originality in creating the designs of the floats. There is no fee for entering floats just sign your application form and enter you company in this wonderful event.
This Parade is certainly the only one of its kind and caliber in the region. It promises to be a dazzling, colorful and lively experience for all where you will see a fusion of color, and music, combine with the delightful fragrance of flowers. The Parade will be in full bloom and adorn the streets of Bahrain on Tuesday 3 of April 2006, join us and don't miss a chance to experience the full grandeur of BIGS 2006.
