Limited Edition from Motorola and Damas on display at Watch and Jewellery Dubai 2005

Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) this week unveiled the diamond-encrusted limited edition of its new pink RAZR mobile, sparkling with a ring of gems surrounding the Motorola 'batwing' logo, and hand-finished by leading regional jeweller Damas.

The diamond pink RAZR is currently on display at Watch and Jewellery Dubai 2005, running from December 5 - 9 at the Airport Expo. Attendees of the show are the very first in the Middle East to get a look at the new bejeweled pink V3 before it becomes available around the region later this month.

"Diamonds have become 'every-day' wearable accessories for the Middle East's most discerning consumers, so how better to personalize your new pink Motorola V3 than with a circle of glittering Damas sparklers?" said Patrick Mulligan, Area Director for Motorola's Mobile Devices Business.

"This limited edition handset makes a fantastic holiday gift, and we expect it to considerably boost Motorola's end-of-the-year sales across the Middle East region," he added.

When commissioning the diamond version of its pink V3 handset, which has just arrived in stores around the UAE, Motorola worked with Damas' gem experts to create a handset that is distinctive yet discreet, and one that won't break buyers' bank balances.

Following Watch and Jewellery Dubai 2005, the diamond pink RAZR will be on display at Dubai's most fashionable shopping destinations, before embarking on a regional road show to reach consumers in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan.
