New General Manager for EMA Lubricants

"The lubricant market in the UAE remains an extremely competitive environment and I am looking forward to the new challenging role as General Manager," said Gunaseelan on his appointment.

Gunaseelan has an association with the Mobil and Esso brands for over 30 years in various capacities, of which the last five years have been in a marketing role with ExxonMobil Middle East Marketing Corporation, Dubai. He is looking forward to the prospect of taking EMA Lubricants to new heights having taken over from industry veteran Khan, who spearheaded many campaigns for the Mobil brand.

The new appointment was marked with a dinner at Park Hyatt Dubai and was attended by Bryn Fennell, Sales Director Middle East and Africa, ExxonMobil Lubricants and Specialties, who was visiting this region from Belgium and HE Sheikh Sultan Al Qassimi, Managing Director of GIBCA.

Gunaseelan brings many years of international experience with ExxonMobil and will continue to promote the sales of Mobil lubricants in the UAE and capitalize on its current market position", said Michel Gouzerh, Chairman and CEO of ExxonMobil Middle East Marketing Corporation.
