"With the automotive sector growing at a rate of more than 10 percent a year in the GCC, a powerful presence at the show is more important than ever before. The motor show provides us with the perfect platform from which to reach existing and new customers and showcase our latest models and introduce new concept cars,"
said Suhail Zain Eldeen, Chief Operations Officer, Al Yousuf Group.
A senior executive from Daihatsu in Japan will be attending the motor show with the specific purpose of unveiling an exciting new model that is both stylish and sporty.
Al Yousuf will also launch the Daihatsu Charade, a snappy and very safe mini-car, available in mid-December, and the Daihatsu Terios, a compact SUV, available early next year.
Al Yousuf executives say that year-on-year sales growth for Daihatsu models is a significant 70 percent figure. Demand for compact and economical cars is increasing in the UAE, due to higher fuel costs and increasing traffic congestion.
"Through the introduction of new and improved showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Ajman, and our new workshop in Sharjah, Al Yousuf is adding value to Daihatsu in the UAE. We are communicating to customers that we can service all their automotive needs, from financing to insurance to maintenance," added Zain Eldeen.
Al Yousuf will be exhibiting at stands 7G, 7G1 and 7G2 at the motor show, which takes place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from 12 to 16 December 2005.
