ETA to deploy SAP solutions to support diversified business requirements

The company has bought 1000 user licences and appointed L&T IT, of India, to deploy the solutions for the group. The project will be supported by SAP Arabia and HP. The project has been christened as "Vision 727".

The SAP Project implementation was announced in a formal meeting recently. Mr Salahuddin, Managing Director, Mr Arif Rahman, Director-Finance and all divisional heads of the ETA Group of companies attended the meeting. SAP Arabia, L&T IT of India and Hewlett Packard attended with their core teams to show support to the project.

Mr. Syed M. Salahuddin, Managing Director, ETA stated at the gathering,

"ETA group should adopt the technology as the business solution and go along with the industry best practices."

He specifically expressed his expectations on the on-time availability of financial reports and operational information for taking proactive decisions and measures. Mr. Salahuddin inaugurated the SAP implementation project formally.

SAP Solutions requirements and deployment at this stage explains the magnitude of growth of ETA into 11 industry verticals in the last thirty years. Mr Arif Rahman, Group Director - Finance, said, "ERP is one of the major Initiatives amongst new group wide initiatives embarked upon by ETA in the last 2 years. When completely implemented these solutions would give significant business benefits such as better risk management, effective cash management, optimum utilization of resources and improvement in supply chain efficiency."
L&T IT made a presentation to the gathering explaining their capabilities and their expertise in SAP implementation practice. SAP Arabia and HP assured all their support in making this project a great success.

Mr. S. Krishnasarma, GM-IT Services, ETA, proposed the vote of thanks to distinguished guests and the invitees on behalf of the implementation team. He assured the senior management that the implementation team would put in all the efforts to meet their expectations expressed by them through this project.
