Fastlink partners with Info2cell.com to provide Rotana content through Advanced Symbian Application on mobile phones

Fastlink, Jordan's GSM service operator and part of the Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC), the largest mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, in cooperation with Info2cell.com, the leading Wireless Application Service Provider (WASP) in the MENA region, has launched an innovative service that allows its subscribers to enjoy the latest entertainment content from Rotana through Advanced Symbian Application on mobile phones.

Rotana is the biggest music audio-visual production company in the region and the new service is a convergence of mobile technology and the growing global entertainment industry.

Fastlink is the first mobile service provider to introduce this pioneering service to its 1.8 million subscribers, who can download the Rotana Player application to their mobile phones, allowing them to download the latest polyphonic ringtones for which Rotana has the exclusive property right. In addition, subscribers can streamline video clips, download Java games and photos of famous artists promoted by Rotana, to be used as wallpapers and screen savers.

The Rotana Player application can be downloaded for free on the mobile phone by sending an SMS to 92222 with the message - ROTANA in English for the English version of the application and in Arabic for the Arabic version. Subscribers can instantly download the latest content and enjoy music through an exclusive website that they can access without the need for registration or passwords.
