Toyota stand at the Eighth Middle East International Motor Show displays extended range

2005 has seen the launch of several exciting new Toyota vehicles by Al-Futtaim Motors , including the flagship Avalon, the 8-seater Innova, the Hilux and the Hiace range. In addition, the youthful Yaris hatchback, and the stylish Fortuner SUV were launched, both of which have recently been nominated in their categories for the annual Autocar Awards. These newcomers to the Toyota family will be displayed alongside the renowned 'King of the Desert' Land Cruiser, the Prado, Previa, Corolla, Echo, xA and the Camry, all symbols of the style, quality, durability and reliability associated with the Toyota brand.

The exciting all-new RAV4 SUV will make its UAE debut at the show, further strengthening the highly successful and segment leading range of Toyota 4X4 vehicles.

The CS&S is an exciting new concept in 2+2 open-top sports car design. The car features many innovations, including a control system that is based on holographic projections that the driver "touches", in place of the more traditional systems. It is powered by Toyota's next-generation Hybrid Synergy Drive THS11 system, combining a 1.5 litre petrol engine that drives the rear wheels, with a powerful electric motor to drive the front wheels. The CS&S proves that hybrid engine technology is not just environmentally-friendly, but can also provide exciting and enjoyable driving, providing drivers with the key benefits of better fuel economy, lower emissions, quieter driving and impressive performance.
