Toyota stand at the Eighth Middle East International Motor Show displays extended range
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, December 11 - 2005 at 12:14
- PRESS RELEASE
The recently extended range of Toyota vehicles will be on display on the Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota Stand at this year's Motor Show, together with the Toyota CS&S (Compact Sport and Speciality) concept car, and the all new Rav 4.
The exciting all-new RAV4 SUV will make its UAE debut at the show, further strengthening the highly successful and segment leading range of Toyota 4X4 vehicles.
The CS&S is an exciting new concept in 2+2 open-top sports car design. The car features many innovations, including a control system that is based on holographic projections that the driver "touches", in place of the more traditional systems. It is powered by Toyota's next-generation Hybrid Synergy Drive THS11 system, combining a 1.5 litre petrol engine that drives the rear wheels, with a powerful electric motor to drive the front wheels. The CS&S proves that hybrid engine technology is not just environmentally-friendly, but can also provide exciting and enjoyable driving, providing drivers with the key benefits of better fuel economy, lower emissions, quieter driving and impressive performance.
Since introducing Toyota to the UAE fifty years ago, Al -Futtaim Motors has opened state-of-the-art Sales Showrooms, Service and Parts facilities in every emirate, to provide the best possible sales and aftersales service to customers. The company's newest Toyota showroom at Dubai Festival City, is one of the largest, most advanced and customer-orientated Toyota showrooms in the world.
Toyota is a highly respected and trusted brand among motorists in the UAE. Its vehicles are renowned not only for their design, build quality and reliability, but for their low cost of ownership - a contributing factor to the strong resale value of the brand in the used vehicle market.
"The Dubai Motor Show gives Al-Futtaim Motors another great opportunity to showcase the latest styling and technological developments on the entire range of Toyota vehicles, which are designed to continually meet the motoring needs of UAE motorists," said Colin Leitch, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Motors. "We introduced some terrific new Toyota vehicles into the range during 2005, and 2006 will see even more spectacular vehicle launches, starting with the all new RAV4" he added.
