Damian McHale, director of international business development, Serco Integrated Transport, said: "The rapid growth in population and infrastructure currently under development in the Middle East leads us to believe that this region will be the next global hub for transport in terms of urban and national road, rail and air.

"Having provided aeronautical services in the Middle East for 40 years, we have a proven track record of delivering successful turnkey solutions and are confident that we can draw on this vast experience and transfer these learnings into a range of applications required across the region in rail, urban transportation, transport management services and infrastructure."
