IMPZ is offering a total of 76 pre-built units including 30 showrooms with warehouses of 450 sq metres, 57 warehouses of 600 sq meters and 19 warehouses of 1,200 sq meters fully equipped with loading docks.
Each unit has a frontage length of 22 metres and a height of 6.5 to 7.5 metres. The units will provide a shell and core fit-out to enable businesses to design them according to their specifications. In addition, the design of the structures allows for units to be interconnected, if required.
The units will feature a reception area, shutter door and well shaded car parking spaces.
Appointments are being scheduled during the Gulf Pack and Print show for printing and packaging companies to select and reserve units.
"One of iMPZ's key objectives is to provide the region's media production industry with a ready infrastructure to allow companies to set up production facilities in Dubai with minimum hassle," said Hamad Huraiz, Director of Operations, iMPZ.
"The Zone's pre-built units are one of iMPZ's many offerings to be unveiled as the project takes full shape,"
he added.
Apart from pre-built units, other facilities offered by iMPZ include a Media Market, a dedicated retail resource stocking specialised art and production goods, an Exhibition, Conference and Business Centre, a hotel and a Media Community Centre with facilities such as art galleries, cafes and activity centres.
In addition, iMPZ will provide community support services for workers and residents at the Zone including, schools, day care centres, parks, fitness and outdoor recreation facilities.
