Audi, with its 25 years of experience and numerous successes in motor sport with the quattro four-wheel drive, has now presented the car to match this already legendary technology.

The new performance SUV creates an entirely new model line for Audi and is the first SUV of a new generation of SUVs. As an absolutely independent concept with a coupé like design, the Q7 expresses sheer sportiness and truly exemplifies Audis brand claim 'Vorsprung durch Technik'. With state of the art technology, such as Audi Side Assist, Audi Advanced Parking System with rearview camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, 4-corner Adaptive Air Suspension and many more, the Q7 excels on the road with the driving performance and dynamism of a sports car, while off-road it redefines the benchmark in its category. Furthermore, with up to 28 different loading configurations and three seat rows, the largest SUV in its class ensures maximum functionality.

The Q7 was revealed for the first time in the Middle East during the Dubai Motor Show and received overwhelming interest from both the media and visitors. When enquiring about the performance of the Q7, Mr. Alexander Buk, Head of Product Marketing Q7 at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt, responded 'The Q7 has been designed and built to excel on road as well as in off-road conditions. In this car space and luxury do not contradict with excellent performance. It will feel perfectly at home on and off the roads of the Middle East.'

Thierry Seys, Managing Director of Audi Middle East stated

'The Q7 will be one of the most important models for Audi in the Middle East market. Audi has been active with four-wheel drive saloon cars for decades, but with the Q7 Audi now also translates its expertise in building sporty, sophisticated and progressive cars into the SUV segment.'

Equally as important as the Q7, at the Motor Show Audi also revealed the new Audi A4 Cabriolet and the Audi S8, the sporty version of Audi's flagship A8, featuring the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, which was especially developed for the A8 model range. At the time of the market launch of the S8 three years ago, this large saloon shot straight to the top of the luxury segment thanks to its dynamic qualities. The Audi S8 is equipped with a new V10 engine that capitalizes on the expertise of the super sports car Lamborghini Gallardo. The 10-cylinder power unit develops 450 bhp of power and 540 Nm of torque from a swept volume of 5.2 litres. The torque value is achieved at as low an engine speed as 3,500 rpm and the luxury saloon sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.

With heavy investments in Marketing, Training and After Sales, Audi was able to propel its success through the new single frame model range even further and has achieved a sales increase of 35% from January to October in the Middle East region, compared to the same period last year.
