IBM will share RFID Best Practices At the 3rd Middle East Mobility & Wireless Broadband Summit 2005

IBM latest wireless solutions and international RFID Customer experiences will be shared by top specialists from IBM during the 3rd Middle East Mobility & Wireless Broadband Summit 2005 this week.

The two-day event, backed by IBM, will take place from13-14th December at The Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai.

"The new wave of wireless-enabled solutions will help businesses increase accuracy and have a greater responsiveness to customer demand and generate new streams of revenue," said Takreem El-Tohamy, General Manager, IBM Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan." IBM has worked with leading industry players in the market to drive significant focus towards this fast-emerging technology area in the Middle East and we believe the Middle East Mobility & Wireless Broadband Summit will give us the opportunity to share international best practices and references to build a better understanding of wireless solutions in the Middle East.

Topics related to latest RFID, Smartphone solutions, Security, Wireline products & services will be discussed by international speakers from various vendors at the event. The sessions will be attended by delegates from across the Middle East region.

Giovanni D'Amico, Wireless Broadband & Sensing Solutions Business Area Leader Central East Europe & Middle East (CEMAAS) at IBM will be the keynote speaker on the first day of the conference to talk about wireless enterprise business solutions like RFID, Wireless Asset Monitoring and Wireless Broadband Solutions. D'Amico will also highlight International RFID success stories from IBM and good practices on wireless solutions.

During GITEX 2005 earlier this year IBM showcased a host of advanced new wireless solutions that are based on open-standards and encompass a broad range of IBM's hardware, software and services offerings.
