Daniel Naoumovitch, Chief Executive Officer, Sabre Travel Network Middle east, said: ''UAE is one of the fastest growing countries in the Middle East region, with an industry growth of twenty-one percent in 2005. By establishing a strong presence in the country, we wanted to ensure that we can provide all travel suppliers and agencies with the right tools and products to grow their business and offer innovative solutions to their customers. This is why we recently introduced much needed products and services in the market, including MySabre, E-services, Sabre.Res, Sabre Virtually There and e-ticketing''.

''Since the official launch of Sabre Travel Network Middle East ten months ago, we have sought to strengthen our position in the market by increasing our local capabilities and strengthening our relationships with suppliers in order to enhance our customer service and deliver even more value to our customers'',

Naoumovitch said. ''This is the latest initiative that proves our commitment to do so''.

The official launch took place in the presence of senior executives of key travel agencies. During the event, Sabre Travel Network presented its first UAE top customer awards. Winners included Omeir Travels, Muna Abu Shmeis from Ittihad Travel for the best performing staff, Asia Travel award for the fastest growing agency in the country and Al Shabah Travels for the fastest growing agency in Al Ain.
