Which car will steal the show? A question that may have been answered on the opening morning, when HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum inaugurated the 8th Middle East International Motor Show, organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
'The new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is more than just another new car', stated Thomas Bscher, President of Bugattti Automobiles S.A.S., and no one would dispute that. If its racy image does not attract your attention, its luminous colours most certainly will. Costing in excess of AED 4.33 million-ex-factory (one million Euros), this is not a car for picking up groceries, but if you are in search of a drop-dead showstopper or a super luxurious toy - then step into hall number four at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Given the attention it has already received the sales staff has high hopes that this impressive and well-orchestrated show will generate in the region of five or six orders.
