This will be the first time that the 2006 version of the MRV will be on display to the public.

Mr. Guy Edmunds, Sales & Marketing Manager for Honda at Trading Enterprises said,

"We are delighted to be launching the 2006 Honda MR-V at the 8th Middle East International Motor Show. The 2006 edition of the MRV now offers a stronger look and is sure to appeal to individuals who enjoy a car that offers excellent on-road and off-road capabilities."

The first full-size, 8-seat Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) from Honda, the MRV is perfect, whether on or off the road, combining the comfort and control of a luxury car and the ruggedness and toughness of a traditional SUV.

The MR-V's 3.5V6 24-valve VTEC engine produces 240hp and an impressive 242 lb/ft of torque at 4,500rpm, which enables it to cope well with off-road conditions. Driving is a comfortable experience, with almost no vibration on the highways and excellent road handling with independent front and rear suspension. With a high driving position with great visibility from the large glass area, the 2006 MR-V operates very well in different driving conditions with the innovative computer-controlled Variable Torque Management 4-Wheel Drive System (VTM-4), which can easily shift between front-wheel drive on-road, and 4-wheel drive off-road, including sand.

The exterior of the 2006 Honda MR-V has taken on a more powerful look with a stronger chrome grill to reflect the power on the inside along with stylish multi-reflector front lights.
Available in two models, the EX and EX L, both with the same 3.5V6 engine and excellent levels of equipment, the EX L model also comes with leather upholstery to reflect its truly luxurious status.
