This version introduces full support for Windows® 2000 and Windows® XP desktop operating systems with multiple user profiles. In addition, it offers significant bilingual printing enhancements incorporating a Print Preview feature. Its multiple bi-directional file transfer has also been enhanced with full support of Arabic XBASIC, ANSI, ASCII and binary file formats along with its binary tracing facilities for TN3270E connections.
These new features reinforce an already robust PC-to-host connectivity solution while maintaining Farabi's commitment to providing bilingual Host Integration solutions.

Rio for the Mainframe allows a user to connect to an IBM Mainframe using TCP/IP through any TN3270E Server or using SNA with Microsoft's Host Integration Server (HIS2000). It offers multi-processor support as well as a macro-recording feature allows users to automate repetitive tasks.
