Highlighting the benefits of mobility and wireless networks in the workplace, Ivan Kraemer, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for ProCurve Networking Business, ISE, explained that being mobile while traveling and after 'business hours' from the home or home office contributes to increased employee productivity. "Wireless access to network services creates a highly collaborative and real time decision making environment where a contingent workforce can accelerate business objectives by accessing and utilising network assets."

He further explained that secure yet flexible wireless network increases business productivity by extending wireless network access to network services for the mobile workforce, business partners, contractual staff, and customers without introducing the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive or confidential data stores.
"Wireless and user mobility are without a doubt the most desired technologies in networking today. Mobile networks provide businesses with real returns on their IT investments by allowing network users to be more productive, extending network access beyond the traditional employee and accessibility for a broad range of devices," Kraemer added.
