Excellence in Real Estate Awards to be announced at the Islamic Real Estate Finance Forum

The Islamic Conference Group (ICG) and Euromoney announced today that 62 institutions working in the field of banking, finance, and real estate have been nominated for 44 categories of the Islamic Real Estate Finance Forum (IREF) 2005 ME Awards for Excellence in Real Estate.
Results of the awards will be announced at a special Gala Dinner on December 18 at the Legends Headquarters at Dubailand. The awards are presented in recognition to the achievements of international and regional entities specialising in real estate sectors and markets.
Conference director Mohaned Abdullah, said: "The announcement of the award winners aims at complementing the conference's objective of exploring the opportunities in Middle East real estate market in greater detail."
The 2005 IREF ME Awards for Excellence in Real Estate consists of four categories; outstanding contributions, regional awards, country awards, and special awards such as Best Innovative Islamic Financing structure, Lifetime contribution award, visionary award, Best Islamically Financed Project Award, and many other.
He added: "As such the IREF - ME workshop this year explores in depth various forms of conventional and Islamic financing structures for real estate. the conference is set to analyse and discuss the salient issues from the global real estate industry. Each sector of the major geographical regions such as Europe, North America, Middle East and the Far East will be examined extensively."
