AUST Network hosts UNESCO Chairs & Arab-European Research Network Meeting

Ajman University of Science and Technology Networks has hosted the UNESCO Chairs and the Arab European Research Network Meeting from 11 to 12th .Dec. at its main Campus in Al Jurf, said Dr Zain Al Abdeen Riziq, Dean of the Environment, Water & Energy Institute and UNESCO Chair member.

He said,
"The main objective of the meeting is to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Arab Environment and Water Institutions and their European counterparts. A number of presentations will be delivered by prominent scientists in the field of environment, water and energy."


"He also added that the meeting intends to explore ways to organize educational trips between the Arab countries and their European counterparts."

"We are very proud that such a significant international organizations have been hosted by Ajman University. This reflects the importance of the university as a pioneering educational institution in the UAE," added Dr Zain Al Abdeen.

The meeting represents a unique opportunity for the UAE members in the organization to capitalize on the latest research from the convening scientists representing Germany, Sweden, Oman and the UAE.
