The young 30 years old Briton started her career as a beauty therapist on board cruise liners, where she joined after finishing her college studies and specialization.
Through hard work and dedication, she rose quickly through the ranks heading her own team, then progressing to be manager on board the company's fleet of 12 ships.
Following five years on the seas, Louise went land based to Qatar, to set up a 5-star Spa & Health Club. This experience was followed by a similar one in Beirut where Louise was on the opening team of another 5-star hotel Spa & Health Club.
Louise holds a diploma in Beauty Therapy from UK. Her extensive training and experience makes her the right manager for the newly open Akaru Spa at the Aviation Club.
"Our spa is warm and welcoming and offers the right mood and setting..... Our guests are made to feel at home with real pampering, be it inside the treatment rooms or in the adjacent relaxation areas", said Louise.
Akaru Spa features 14 treatment rooms where guests can enjoy specialized facial treatments using world-known DECLEOR products or different massage treatments spanning from aromatherapy and reflexology to more sophisticated cellulite and slimming massages or body wraps by prestigious brand THALGO. Men are not left out with their own treatment rooms dedicated to their well-being and "serious skin care" -as Louise puts it- being the only spa in Dubai to use the French renowned men-only brand, NICKEL.
"We offer a high level of service and professionalism and work with a wide variety of innovative treatments. You will find our highly trained spa staff very friendly and always ready to help you- so come and enjoy",
she added.
The Akaru Spa is the latest addition to the Aviation Club, that is home to the very popular Irish Village, the trendy Century Village with its choice of eight licensed restaurants and the Cellar, a contemporary restaurant offering international cuisine with a trendy Cigar & Wine Bar for the real connoisseurs.
