The award is given out in three categories: Best Boardroom, Best Classroom/ Training Facilities and Best Auditorium. Visionaire's Amity Board Room was chosen for the Grand Prize under the Best Boardroom category.

The design concept of Amity Room, " Building the future- Preserving the Past", is evident in the tasteful nod to Arab culture in the wall decorations, ceiling lamp and stately chairs.
Less obvious is the technical sophistication of the room, which includes motion sensors that detect where people are sitting, automatically activating those microphones as well as the tracking on the room's video conferencing camera. Four distinct lighting zones and a host of other presentation options makes it an ideal room for almost any type of presentation.
The room works multi-functionally as a distance meeting room and also a dedicated boardroom for up to 20 people who can access data, voice and video from anywhere in the world and during the meeting all notes are created electronically for archiving and sharing.
Visionaire had bagged the same award in 2000 for the audio-video facilities Visionaire built at the twin tower of ZADCO-GASCO in Abu Dhabi was awarded with the Best Conference Room award by Presentation in the year 2000.
Commenting on bagging the prestigious award this year, Mr Aseem Gupta, Executive Chairman, Visionaire said,

The Internet Age Building is dedicated to demonstrate proof of concept for futuristic technologies and is custom designed by the Visionaire Technology Group Inc. Divided into 11 technology spaces, all named with the starting Alphabet "A", each tech-space has a unique displayed and demonstrated to actual life. The Campus was inaugurated in 2004 by H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Education, UAE.
