Dubai Duty Free crowns themed raceday

Dubai Duty Free provided racegoers with a taste of the Middle East on Darley Irish Oaks Day at The Curragh racecourse last Sunday (14 July), with its backing of the Euro 40,000 Dubai Duty Free Handicap Stakes.
Commenting on Dubai Duty Free's first foray into racing in Ireland, Managing Director, Colm McLoughlin said: "The operation has been associated with top horse racing events for many years and, in fact, is one of the founding sponsors of the Dubai World Cup, the richest horse race in the world. Our decision to sponsor a race at The Curragh this year is in line with the operation's ongoing promotion of Dubai."
Evan Arkwright, The Curragh's Commercial Manager commented: "We are delighted that Dubai Duty Free has chosen to include this race in its European sponsorship portfolio. Our racegoers have been genuinely interested in visiting the Nomadic Marquee to learn about Dubai.
Dubai Duty Free was represented at The Curragh by Colm McLoughlin, accompanied by his wife Breeda, Salah Tahlak, Senior Manager of Promotions and Advertising, and Sinéad El Sibai, Manager of Events, Advertising and Media Relations, who presented framed Khanjars to the winning connections.
