Originally from Cape Town, South Africa he has a contagious passion for the leisure industry. His love for fitness began at the tender age of 15 years for competitive sports; particularly Soccer where he played soccer regularly for his local teams. He took the decision to explore the leisure industry further and began his career as a Personal Trainer aged 22 for 'Loots' Health Club in Cape Town.
During his career he has worked with various reputable fitness chains including 'Planet Fitness' where he contributed to winning the internationally recognized IHRSA (International Health and Racquet Sportsclub Association) award. Having flown to Dubai directly from Cape Town where the leisure industry is extremely competitive Rodney brings professionalism and diversity to InterFitness. With 11 years experience he has extensive knowledge of fitness testing, nutrition and weight training. Additionally he is a qualified personal trainer; has a diploma in 'Gym Management' from Pretoria University and participates in regular sports coaching modules.
Rodney says "To lead a healthy lifestyle three key elements are required; a balanced diet of fruit, fibre and vegetables, regular exercise and plenty of water. I look forward to promote this lease of life with the New Years Resolution packages".
