MTC-Vodafone celebrates its dealers at 2nd yearly meeting in Sharm El Sheikh resort

For the second consecutive year, MTC-Vodafone held honorary celebrations for its authorized dealers in Sharm El Sheikh Resort, organizing the annual meeting under the slogan, 'Open Dialogue and Reactivation of Partnership Principle to Achieving Better Growth'.

MTC-Vodafone devotes this special ceremony to emphasizing the contribution of dealers in realizing its objectives and marketing plans. This is clearly reflected in the dialogue between the dealers and senior officials of the company as represented by the Chairman, Asaad Ahmed Al Banwan, Vice Chairman Dr. Saad Al Barrak, and General Manager Barrak Al Sabeeh and other officials from various departments. The open dialogue with dealers is meant to remove any barriers that affect their relationship with the company, and to enhance the listening process with the aim of consolidating the principle of partnership. This tendency was obviously reflected in Barrak Al Sabeeh's opening speech when he indicated, "Through this gathering, which we are keen to hold annually, we intend to implant intimacy and consolidate social relationships with the dealers away from the general atmosphere of work."

Al Sabeeh added,

"MTC considers this 2nd annual meeting as a golden opportunity to exchange views with the dealers - the real business partners - in implementing corporate marketing plans and creating open, two-way dialogue based on deep understanding of the relationship".


He further stated, "This gathering is an optimal chance to assess the nature of performance of the last year through which positive and negative factors are evaluated as the Company plans for its next year."

Al Sabeeh indicated that the company always works to introduce the best in the market through the dealers. He emphasized the success of the dealers in this case is a success to the company, since the principle of partnership is the distinctive feature of the business relationship between both parties.

He also mentioned that the company endeavors to upgrade its dealers, so that they can attain the highest levels of technological development in the world of communications and adapt with industry changes with support provided by MTC through training courses and likewise.

Al Sabeeh disclosed MTC's plans to form a committee to evaluate the experience which governs the mutual relations with the dealers with the aim of reaching the best results and implementing a harmonized mechanism for the forthcoming years. Al Sabeeh invited the dealers to share MTC's success in foreign markets of Middle East and Africa and become global dealers since their experience dealing in the Kuwaiti market is a valuable component of the expansion.

He said MTC is now keeping the number of its branches in the market unchanged; aiming to give dealers excellent opportunities and committing to reduce the number of branches if required. He clarified that the annual meeting enhances the principle of transparency, disclosure and frankness as the dealers and the company's senior officials are face to face without any barriers to hinder communications.

Talal Al Saleh, Executive Sales Manager, said, "We are fully aware of the huge extent of the dealers' capabilities to contribute in an optimal manner for the mutual benefit of both parties."

Al Saleh indicated that upgrades in the work are an urging need, which can only be achieved by the ongoing search for the best way to deliver excellent service. He stated that the meeting opens the door for open communications, giving each party the opportunity to discuss issues in the presence of senior company officials - further demonstrating MTC's leadership. He emphasized that the meetings give MTC a higher degree of creditability and transparency in dealing with its dealers. Al Saleh stated that MTC considers the dealers an integral part to the Company's overall success.

Indirect Sales Department Manager, Shafiq Sayyed Omar said the positive results of these meetings emerged by encouraging the dealers to build a mutual and effective dialogue on the nature of their relationship with the company. Al Omar emphasized that MTC considers the dealers as real partners, and stressed the importance for dealers to keep up with technological developments, so as to stay in line with MTC's updated services.

Hamzah Taqi of Future Telecommunication Company said that the company is dedicated to providing the most advanced technologies in the telecommunication sector to both companies and individuals thanks to their strong relationship with MTC. He stated that as the company provides its services, it is constantly striving for the best. Simultaneously, he emphasized the importance in creating mutual constructive dialogue between the two parties.

Naser Al Asfour from Al Jazeerah Company indicated that Al Jazeerah Company has been dealing with MTC for a long time and this is reflected on the close intimate relationship between the two parties. He praised the great efforts exerted by MTC in organizing this meeting which is meant to encourage open dialogue between both parties.

I greeting attendees, the representative from European Telephone Company commented that these events reveal the extent of attention MTC pays to its dealers and listens to their suggestions and opinions. He said this meeting is a valuable chance to be acquainted to other dealers and to MTC's senior officials.
