MMI Logistics appoints Freight Manager

MMI Logistics, a division of Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI), has announced the appointment of Malcolm Thornewill as the company's new Freight Manager.

This post has been created to intensify the company's freight service offerings to third party clients, and to value-enhance freight spend.

Announcing the appointment, Mike Lee, Head of MMI Logistics (MMIL) stated that the company was keen to extend competitive services to both existing and future customers.

MMIL's new recruit, Malcolm Thornewill brings to the company over 17 years of work experience gained in the freight forwarding industry, including a three-year position in the GCC marketplace. Thornwill has earlier worked at GB Express and Flexseatank in the UK, Trans Ocean Distribution in the UK and Belgium, and P&O Containers in the UK and Johannesburg. He was last employed as Middle East Commercial Manager for a UK-based company.
