Destinations of the World announces the first Global Network Conference in Dubai

The company provides travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, airlines and travel companies with wholesale rates and on line reservation systems to book hotel & apartment accommodation, transfers, car rental and sightseeing tours in over 600 cities worldwide.

New offices have been opened in London, Salzburg, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Colombo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Cairo, Russia, Gold Coast (Australia) and Instabul over the last 2 years and the Holding Company was also established in Leichtenstien.

Over the next 5 years the company will also expand its network to North & South America, China, Japan and Africa and the process is presently on going.

The company has been in operation since 1993 with offices across the Middle East including Dubai, Kuwait & Saudi Arabia and franchise offices in Qatar, Lebanon,Jordan,Greece & Pakistan.

The objective of the group is to provide all the necessary support in relation to management, finance, manpower, sales & marketing support, operating software & systems that are developed in house and the synergy to ensure that each DOTW office becomes the leading DMC in their respective countries. Services can be provided to individual travellers and the company also handles the full spectrum of ground services to cater to Groups and the MICE business.

The purpose of this network conference was to give every DOTW office the opportunity to showcase their products & services to the other offices as each office buys and sells to each other and distribute the products and services of the global product to the travel trade in their respective countries.

Technology has been at the forefront to the success of Destinations of the World and the company recently launched their state of the art online reservations system called dotworld. This software is developed on microsoft .net technologies and has the capability of providing XML interfaces with the reservation systems of their customers giving them access to the huge inventories of room allocations with immediate confirmations.
