Over the years, Masafi has been an active supporter of some of the Gulf's most prestigious sporting spectacles including the Dubai Tennis Open, the Go-Kart Championships, the Pan-Arab Basketball Tournament and also the Sportzone - a month-long sports carnival that included events like football, cricket, basketball, hockey, volleyball, table tennis and games for the physically challenged. Masafi also sponsored the recent Motor City GT 500 race at the Dubai Autodrome.
