eCompany provides WiFi Internet access through GoRemote to overseas visitors at iZone hotspots

iZone is the public Hot Spot Internet service provided by eCompany which is currently available across convention centres, airports, major hotels and shopping centres across the UAE

Visitors having an international WiFi roaming subscription to the GoRemote network either directly with GoRemote or through their home ISP(Internet Service Provider) will be able to use their WiFi Roaming credentials to access the Internet by selecting the WiFi Roaming - GoRemote from the log in options. All they need to do is enter their username and password to gain access to the Internet at any iZone location in the UAE.

Users will be charged for the usage by their own home ISPs, with whom they have the WiFi roaming account, in their regular post-paid monthly bill. eCompany does not charge the user for the service directly.

According to Abdulla Hashim, Senior Manager, eCompany, "The UAE is seeing a substantial increase in foreign tourists and overseas visitors. A large majority of these visitors need a convenient and accessible option to log on to the Internet. It is with this in mind that we collaborated with GoRemote to make such a convenient payment option for Wifi Internet access available to these visitors.

'We are also in the process of signing up with more international operators for WiFi Roaming service.to allow our customers to roam outside the UAE through these networks.
