LG Air Conditioners Retains World No. 1 Position for the Sixth Consecutive Year

Fuji-Keizai, a well know market research company in Japan, announced that in 2005 LGE accounted for about 17.4% share of the world air conditioner market which is good for number one position again.

Furthermore, LGE's sales revenue increased sharply with a two-digit growth rate over the last year.

LGE has made this outstanding achievement notwithstanding the pressure of high oil prices, increasing raw material prices, a cool summer in Europe and North America and tough several competitions from rapidly growing Chinese manufacturers and high-tech oriented Japanese manufacturers.
