ME TV sector unsustainable

A report by Booz Allen Hamilton cited in Gulf News has questioned the sustainability of the television industry in its current form in the Middle East, saying that there are too many channels funded by private cash and not enough transparency or investment in free-to-air TV. It says in a market of close to 150 FTV channels, about 80% of advertising revenue is going to the top eight.
