AMAN develops innovative human resources management guide

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company, AMAN, announced that it has completed an innovative guide for human resources management in collaboration with an international advisory firm.

The guide, which comes in line with the company's vision to enhance the HR management for 2006, includes comprehensive details on HR development, as well as rules for enhancing skills of the company's human resources and employees working in the insurance sector.

Hussain Al Meeza, Managing Director, AMAN, said:

'Aman's board of directors have agreed to initiate an innovative HR strategy for 2006. The new strategy aims at developing potentials of the company's employees, as well as enhancing the human resources management in the Takaful insurance area.'



'The initiative is aimed at identifying the capabilities and potentials of human resources in the market. The guide will contribute to improve the practices in the human resources management and will enhance skills and expertise of employees in the insurance sector, ' he added.

He concluded: 'Insurance has become one of the UAE's most dynamic financial industries. The industry provides substantial opportunities for self-development and there is room for many to make insurance a life-long career.'

Aman has also established an 'Emiratisation Committee' that will be working to increase number of UAE nationals working at Aman to 35 per cent of the total employees in the company by end of 2006.
