Woodworking Middle East to feature cutting-edge technology and solutions

The Woodworking Middle East Show, to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah next month, will be the regional woodworking industry's ultimate source for cutting-edge equipment, machinery, technology, solutions and services.

The three-day exposition will provide top professionals from the industry not only an opportunity to witness the unveiling of the latest developments in the field of woodworking technology but also the chance to interact face to face with some of the world's leading names in the industry.

Woodworking Middle East, the region's first dedicated trade event aimed at meeting the A-Z requirements of the woodworking industry, will make its debut on January 22, 2006.

The event will showcase wood, woodworking machinery, tools & equipment, consumables and furniture accessories including the entire range of veneers, plywood, laminates, glues, lacquers, fittings, accessories and supplies for woodworking machinery.

Some of the leading names that are participating in Woodworking Middle East 2006 are Simco, Al Hamoudi Machinery Trading Co, Mohd. Hakim Trading, Hoffmann GMBH, Jai Industries India, Danube Building Material, Al Rahmani Building Material, Bison Kit, Sadolin Paints, Mas Paints, Rubber Board of India and Aero Plastics among others.

Vitap, a leading Italian brand in woodworking machinery, has so far launched 22 models of the mechanical drill. Today, it exports to more than 60 countries. Bulleri, also an Italian company, belongs to the Sicar group and specialises in the production of CN machining centres with application in several branches including solid wood and panels, composites, aluminium and plastics.

Simco is the UAE-based distributor of Sicar Group and is considered to be a pioneer in the field of industrial machinery in the Middle East region and parts of Africa.
