News content is automatically pulled to the subscriber in an easy-to-navigate layout that gives a quick overview of all the latest items from their favourite sources. Users can fully retrieve just the ones they want, saving time and effort.

"Instead of continuously checking your favourite sites for updates, you can let AME Info MediaCentre do it for you," explains Klaus Lovgreen, CEO, AME Info.

"From news sites to your friends' blogs and podcasts, AME Info MediaCentre keeps you up-to-date with content that matters to you, and it's totally free."

AME Info chose the name MediaCentre because the service tracks more than just text articles. Multimedia content, such as podcasts and online video feeds, is also available.

The service can also be used to track custom news feeds via sites such as Google news. Put in the keywords that interest you, such as 'Qatar tourism', and a feed is automatically created to update you on all related articles.

Users can also add their AME Info Watchlist to their MediaCentre page, to get updated on all the news sections they have selected on AME Info.

AME Info MediaCentre is based on a technology called RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, which is growing in popularity all over the internet. Websites enable an RSS feed of their content, which allows it to be aggregated in another location. This way, you can view news from hundreds of different websites all at once.

"News aggregation is the future. It's about empowering users and helping them access the content they want quickly and easily," Lovgreen concludes.
