- PRESS RELEASE
The Organizing Committee of the International Aerobatics Show, to be hosted by Al Ain city from the second day of Eid Al Adha, seeks to make this world-renowned event a grand carnival that suits all family members, especially children who will enjoy a host of fun-filled activities, before they go back to school after holiday.
To attract tens of thousands of visitors and promote domestic tourism, a host of cultural, social and recreational activities are lined up on the sidelines of the show.
Tailored for all age groups, the recreational activities and facilities will include a heritage village showcasing the beautiful deep-rooted life of our ancestors and local and international art exhibitions.
There will also be special sections for families and an exclusive village for children including recreational facilities and services.
Aerobatics fans, especially children, will have the opportunity to watch different models of jets from a closer angle and take snaps, as scores of jets will be showcased without barriers at the show's venue.
Children will also have the opportunity to take part in quizzes including a painting competition, which will be organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Al Ain Educational Zone.
Furthermore, kids will have the opportunity to watch the aerobatics demonstrations from the family benches during this year's show including night demonstrations and fireworks, which will be held for the first time in the Middle East.
Aerobatics champions from around the world will draw the largest painting in the sky of the UAE, while trying to register a new free-style team parachuting involving 70-80 parachutists, to break the current record in the Guinness Book of records, which is 42 parachutists only.
