Dubai skies to come alight again with DSF 2006

The magic of fireworks has never ceased to hold the imagination of mankind. Keeping in line with the most outstanding event the emirate is yet to witness, Al Zarooni Group, a key sponsor of DSF, will light the night skies with the most resplendent fireworks during the 32-day period festival.

These magnificent visual representations of DSF can be witnessed at Al Mamzar Park at 8pm, the Creek Park at 9pm and at the Global Village at 10pm daily from January 4 to February 4.

Stimulating family events are what make the Dubai Shopping Festival an exclusive experience in itself thanks to its ongoing 'One World One Family One Festival' theme. Now in its 11th year, the DSF is once again out to mark the occasion with a large number of exceptional activities to enthral the young and the old. With the goal of making the festival a unique experience to everyone each year, the revamping of old events and the addition of new events is what makes this festival a novel experience year after year. The fireworks too will live up to the concept of originality with most of the artistic fireworks, which will be witnessed for the first time, having been manufactured especially for this year's celebritions. This would include presentations that would be more glamorous and of a longer duration each night than previous years.

Safety measures remain an integral part of the fireworks festivities with all security measures concerning the fireworks display having already been finalised after careful study by the Al Zarooni Group and necessary steps being taken for any eventuality. Only a special team, which has been extensively trained in safe handling procedures by the Group, will launch the fireworks. Coordination between the Police Department, Fire Force of the Civil Defence will also be arranged as usual.
