'Shop for Free' returns to Jacky's

Following a hugely successful 'Shop for Free' campaign in 2005, where Jacky's tied up with top jewellery retailer, Alukkas, the company renews its association with the jeweller for DSF 2006. This year Jacky's offers shoppers vouchers for the purchase of diamond jewellery at Alukkas, on spending at Jacky's. In addition, there will also be a draw where two diamond sets, worth Dh 50,000 each, will be given to the lucky winners.

Sports fans are in for a treat as Jacky's is giving 10 lucky couples the chance to win a two-night, three-day, all expenses paid Emirates Holiday package to Goa, India, to watch the one-day international cricket match between England and India on April 3, 2006. To qualify for this draw, shoppers will have to purchase any LCD or Plasma TV from the various brands associated with Jacky's, such as BenQ, G-Hanz, Hitachi, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba.

"Our plans for DSF have always been based on what the consumer wants. And judging by the response we received to our last campaign, which included our association with Alukkas, we understand that this is something that the shopper would like to see repeated. What makes this campaign so successful and interesting to shoppers is that there is no catch to it. It is exactly what we say it is: 'Shop for Free'," said Ashish Panjabi, Chief Operating Officer, Jacky's Electronics.

The Jacky's 'Shop for Free' offer will run from January 4 to February 4, 2006 at all Jacky's outlets in Dubai including at Dubai Airport Road, Deira City Centre, Nasr Square, Century Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Festive offers will also be available at Sahara Centre and the newly-opened store at Jacky's Express outlet in Safeer Mall.

Sporting striking, new uniforms, custom-made for DSF 2006, staff at Jacky's have been trained on the range of products and special offers available at both Alukkas and Jacky's.
