Saudi CIO Summit 2006 to highlight business process management (BPM)

Business Process management (BPM) will be the main theme of the Saudi CIO Summit 2006.

More than 400 CIOs, IT managers and administration & finance managers will participate in the event.

Organized by the Saudi Computer Society, the summit will be held on February 13-15, 2006 at the King Faisal Conference Hall, Intercontinental Hotel, Riyadh.

"Topics to be covered include: BPM methodologies, business process and automated business applications, change management, forms management, ERP/GRP, case studies" said Eng. Mohammed Al-Kharashi, Supervisor of the event.

He added "A highly focused exhibition will run concurrently with the summit. The sponsors for the summit will showcase their latest technology, solutions, products and services in BPM-related areas".

Experts and specialist speakers from: Ministry of CIT, Ministry of Water and Electricity, Ministry of Higher Education, STC, Saudi Airlines, Council of Saudi Chambers, and King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, In addition to, leading experts from: Holool, Oracle, and Devoteam. They will give presentations on the latest technologies, strategies and new trends. Case studies will also be presented at the event.
