- PRESS RELEASE
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched its new-look website, which comes on the heels of inaugurating the building of Security and Safety Administration at the GCAA's premises in Dubai.
"The tremendous growth of the civil aviation sector in the UAE has necessitated the development of our website and the introduction of new services like "E-licensing" & E-Payment which will be functional soon", said Khalifa Abu Jumhour, Director - Finance and Administration.
The website will also have the e-Job service to serve young UAE nationals seeking employment, added Mr. Jumhour.
He said job applicants can view the recruitment options and vacancies online and apply electronically. The home page will have general information of civil aviation, air control services and civil aviation safety, as well as other data.
The website will also contain 2006 civil aviation safety's training programme schedules. These programmes will be organised by the GCAA in cooperation with the European Academy of Civil Aviation.
