IFP Group forms a Jordanian company under the name of IFP Near East to operate the 3rd International Rebuild Iraq Exhibition

IFP Group has formed a Jordanian company under the name of IFP Near East.
Aoun announced in a press release published today from Beirut, "That this new initiative reflects our group's commitment to expand our investments in Jordan, and our determination to successfully deliver an efficient and fruitful Rebuild Iraq 2006 Exhibition to our international and regional clients. The exhibition and the concurrent Conference will act as a catalyst to contribute to fostering dialogue on business opportunities and construction activities in Jordan and Iraq."
"All our group's activities in Jordan and Iraq will be exclusively handled by IFP Near East from its new Amman offices. IFP Near East will be the local arm and the organizer of the 3rd International Rebuild Iraq Exhibition, in addition to a program of specialized international trade fairs and conferences in the Jordanian Capital that will soon be announced. Having IFP Near East in Amman will improve the services and facilities we provide to our exhibitors especially the visitor promotion activities."
"To give added value to the participating international delegations and update them on the opportunities and business environment in Iraq , a two day Rebuild Iraq 2006 Conference on 9 and 10 of May, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham) will address all major issues including security, finance, contracting, business, health, infrastructure development and trade. AmCham already started putting together the conference program and contact top Iraqi and International keynote speakers and international experts on Iraq,' Aoun added.
Fadi Kaddoura, Project Director of Rebuil Iraq exhibition at IFP Group added that "the outstanding success of the 2005 event echoed well with the international delegations that took part, resulting in a tremendous inflow of booking requests for the Rebuild Iraq 2006 from all over the world. Indications lead us to believe that the 2006 event will be yet another success with a forecasted growth of 15 - 20% in the number of exhibitors so that may reach to 1200 exhibitors.'
'A good number of new countries and countries which missed the 2005 event, have already expressed to us their firm intention to have a full-scale participation at Rebuild Iraq 2006. According to the IFP Group statistics the Rebuild Iraq 2005 which was held in Amman last April attracted more than 986 exhibitors, from 44 countries including 23 national pavilions, serving the rebuilding needs of all key Iraqi economic sectors," added Kaddoura.
To date, the 3rd Rebuild Iraq in 2006 has already obtained the unshaken support of 51 countries including 7 new prominent official bodies from France, Brazil, Hong Kong, Denmark, Luxemburg, Taiwan, and Japan.
The 13,000 visitors of IFP's 2005 event included over 4,000 Iraqi trade visitors, which IFP secured through an extensive network of contacts and a massive visitor promotion campaign, as well as, the 'Hosted Iraqi Buyers Program' unmatched in the Middle East. Kaddoura added that IFP Group has no connection with "Expo Jordan" in relation to any conference or exhibition held in Jordan.
