PILATUS presents its latest training aircraft at the Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2006

Once again PILATUS, the famous Swiss aircraft manufacturer, participates in the Aerobatic Show to be held in Al Ain City, United Arab Emirates under the patronage of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, starting from the 2nd day of Al Adha Holiday and for 5 days (11 - 15 January 2006), organized jointly by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, UAE Air Force and Air Defence.
Over the past 60 years, by means of foresighted product development based on close consideration of future trends and customer input coupled with the use of innovative technology, the company has established itself worldwide as a successful, well-known manufacturer of quality, high performance, cost effective turbo trainer and commuter / utility aircraft.
At the Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2006 PILATUS will present its state-of-the-art PC-21 turboprop training aircraft, which is the latest thoroughbred from a line of highly successful PILATUS turboprop training aircraft. The all new "state-of-the-art" PILATUS PC-21 turboprop trainer has an aerodynamic performance and capabilities for modern pilot training that far exceed those offered by current turboprop trainers. The PC-21 will be on show in the static display and will also participate in the daily flying display.
Also on display will be the highly successful and world-renowned PILATUS PC-7 turboprop trainer. Over 450 of these aircraft have been supplied to 21 Air Forces around the world. The UAE Air Force operates this aircraft type here in Al Ain at the Khalifa bin Zayed Air College as its basic training platform for over twenty years.
To complete the line up of PILATUS products, on display will be the trend setting, high performance and highly versatile commuter and utility PILATUS PC-12 aircraft. On the market for the last 10 years PILATUS has to date completed delivery of over 560 aircraft.
