Tabreed sponsors Al Ain Aerobatics Show 2006

To be held from Jan 11th-15th, the Al Ain Aerobatics Show will showcase spectacular displays of exhilarating sky-high aviation from 18 teams. Many will be competing in the three-day Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) World Grand Prix. National aerobatic teams, including those from the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will also be flying formation.

'The Al Ain Aerobatics Show attracts some of the best flying display teams from many countries and is a great spectator event,' said Tabreed CEO, Dany Safi. 'Our participation last year was very well received with a lot of our clients and suppliers visiting our chalet to watch the show. It also gave Tabreed employees an opportunity to watch the show together with their families.'

The Al Ain Aerobatics show was developed to reflect Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's dedication to promote the emirate of Abu Dhabi as a global tourist attraction, to highlight the Authority's role in organising major annual events and developing its great tourism potential. The event is jointly organized with the UAE Air Force and Air Defense.

'This is a feel good venture,' added Safi. 'We found after the 2005 event, it held a special place in the hearts of the people who experienced it. It is a family event where everyone finds the small child inside them watching in awe the graceful dances these amazing pilots perform in the skies.'

In addition to supporting the Al Ain Aerobatics show, Tabreed undertakes a number of other community initiatives. These include working on an environmental programme with the Emirates Environmental Group as well as sponsoring sports events across the country and continuing its commitment to a nationalisation recruitment strategy.
