The Jordanian team was the winner of the 2nd place at 'Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2005' where they offered spectacular performances to the huge audience, outdoing many of the world's finest aerobatic teams. The team also won the Best International Show Award at Fairford Aerobatic Show in England twice, in 1995 and 2002.

The Royal Jordanian Falcons National Aerobatics team was founded and established back in 1976 at the behest of His Majesty the late King Hussein Bin Talal (may God bless his soul). It was his Majesty's intention to promote the Jordanian Family, peace and friendship to the world through the art and science of aviation. Since 1976, the team has performed in many countries throughout the world, such as Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Indonesia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and many other European countries.

With the continuous support of His Majesty King Abdullah the Second and under the supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein, the Honorary President, the team continues to tour the world exposing the Jordanian Family to approximately 3 to 5 million people every year. The team's home base has recently been transferred to Aqaba (Red Sea) by Royal Decree in an effort to enhance tourism and investment there. The team is financially sponsored by the 'Aqaba Development Company', and logistically supported by both the Royal Jordanian Airlines and the Royal Jordanian Air Force. The Royal Jordanian Air Force also provides the team with experienced fighter pilots and aerial transportation for the team's aircraft.

The Royal Jordanian Falcons operated the Pitts Special until 1992. They now operate the Extra-300, powered by a Textron Lycoming engine, which provides 300-horse power. The aircraft is manufactured in Germany and is considered as one of the best in the unlimited aerobatic class. The team displays in a 4-ship formation presenting a blend of both formation and solo aerobatic performances. All display pilots are Air Force volunteer pilots who usually fly with the team for a period of 3 to 4 years before returning to their fighter squadrons.
